TrailsPlus Urban Trail Series - Race 1

 2km 5km 10km 21km 42km 50km

Dendy Park is a popular urban park located in Brighton and is enjoyed by locals for its playgrounds, sporting facilities and open spaces.

The start/finish is at the BBQ shelter, so competitors and supporters are encouraged to linger for a while after the event and make use of the facilities with a picnic or BBQ.

The trail is a 1.9km circuit, predominantly on a compacted sand base, with small sections of asphalt.  All events are conducted in an anti-clockwise direction.

A BIG THANK YOU is extended to the Bayside City Council. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to conduct this event for a 2nd year on the Dendy Park track.

Urban Trail Series 2015

Dendy Park is the first race of the Urban Trail Series.  Find out all about it here and register for the series!!

All Trailsplus events donate $1 of each participant's race entry fee to CanTeen, the Australian organisation for Young people Living with cancer.

UPDATE: In 2015, there were 152 race entries, and personal donations amounted to $378. So Trailsplus has donated a total of $530 to Canteen from the Dendy Park race.

Thanks to locals Andrew and Sue O'Brien, from Partnerunning, who helped get this event off the ground in 2014.  We look forward to their involvement again this year.  Checkout some of these links to find out more about their involvement with helping people get active.
